China's Internet Gestapo:
The Chinese have stepped up their attempts at controlling the internet. The government has laid a series of charges against people who are using the internet to promote democracy. The Chinese have long tried to keep a lid on this type of unauthorized use of the internet. The Hacker organization Cult of The Dead Cow has been engaged in a campaign to strike back at this kind of censorship of the internet. They specifically target countries like China who try to restrict its use for freedom of speech. I strongly support their efforts in this regard. For many years China has been a very dangerous place for individuals promoting political reforms, many have died in the attempts so far. While many advances have been made there recently, lets hope that some of these old habits are overcome soon.
It's time that all the worlds leaders start to consider their peoples as more than idiots to be deceived at the drop of a hat. The people of the world are ready to be told the truth by their representatives. Here's hoping they will all get the message sometime soon, while we still have a world to care about.
