Cloning:
Oh my God, this just in kids. Apparently a scientist just implanted a human cloned embryo into a woman. Where to start. It was my understanding that scientist had not perfected the cloning process and as such they could not be sure that any child born of this procedure would not be disabled. This amounts to knowingly producing a child that will be malformed or will have some other handicap. Without discussing the actual ethics of cloning at all, this strikes me as criminal. I sure wouldn't want to be that child. Face it folks, if we can't even figure out what to do with our garbage we shouldn't be toying with the processes of life. I read yesterday that some fool had combined a human and a cow in what is thought to be a viable embryo. What possible reason would anyone have for doing that. Most scientists are professionals with the highest level of ethics. However, there ought to be laws to stop people like these guys.
