Search for W.M.D.:
Secretary of State Colin Powel now admits that there is a possibility that there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Stunning admission considering that what Saddam once had was given to him by the U.S. The Americans didn't have a problem with this, or with their use against Iran. The problem only arose when they realized they couldn't control Saddam. Dick Cheney also informs us that the full search will take "some additional, considerable time". Not to worry though, I'm sure the Americans will take as much time as is necessary to ensure we're all safe. After all, they are the world experts in chemical and biological warfare. I'm very glad they never got around to giving Saddam any of the really nasty stuff they have safely stored. By all reports, some of these would take less than a thimble full to kill all of us. Oh well, I'm sure we're safe. The American record on Intelligence, safety, and the wise application of their technology and might should easily make us all sleep well.
