Stalking:
A friend of mine has recently become the victim of a stalker. Police officials have told her that short of being caught red-handed there is little they can do. Even if he is caught red-handed the result would have very little affect. Punishments for simple stalking are small and would tend to just piss him off. Any stalker, even an apparently harmless one, is a very disturbed individual, and represents an extremely real danger to the victim. Ladies, do not take this litely in any circumstances, and always be prepared to defend yourself if you are the victim of this. The police can do very little until after the guy has hurt or killed you.
