Whatever Happened to Freedom of speech and the Press

The U.S. courts appear to be siding against the journalists these days as more and more their right to protect their sources is over-turned. What gets me is the fact that this issue is overshadowing the real facts of this case which is the vengeful release of the identity of a U.S. ambassador's wife as a C.I.A. agent after her husband had criticized George Bush.

In the end, I'm sure these decisions will be reversed. It's fundamental to our constitution and our way of life. Unfortunately, it's too late for the lady journalist who'll more than likely spend at least half a year behind bars.
